Refund Policy

Overview

FindiMoto operates as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers of vehicles. We facilitate connections between parties but do not directly sell vehicles. This refund policy outlines our position on refunds for services offered through our platform.

General No-Refund Policy

FindiMoto does not offer refunds for vehicle transactions.

As a marketplace platform, all vehicle sales are conducted directly between buyers and sellers. FindiMoto is not a party to these transactions and therefore cannot process refunds for vehicle purchases.

Any disputes regarding vehicle condition, payment, or delivery must be resolved directly between the buyer and seller. We encourage all parties to:

  • Thoroughly inspect vehicles before completing any transaction
  • Use our vehicle inspection service for professional assessment
  • Maintain clear communication and documentation
  • Report any fraudulent activity to our security team at security@findimoto.co.za

Inspection Service Refund Policy

The only paid service we offer is our Vehicle Inspection Service. The following refund terms apply:

1. Cancellation Before Inspection

If you cancel your inspection booking before the scheduled appointment:

  • More than 48 hours in advance: Full refund (100%)
  • 24-48 hours in advance: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours in advance: No refund

2. Inspector No-Show

If our inspector fails to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, you are entitled to a full refund (100%) or complimentary rescheduling.

3. Incomplete Inspection

If the inspection cannot be completed due to our fault (equipment failure, inspector illness, etc.), you may choose:

  • Full refund (100%)
  • Free rescheduling at your convenience

4. No Refund After Completed Inspection

Once an inspection has been completed and the report delivered, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the inspection findings. The service has been rendered as agreed.

5. Vehicle Unavailability

If the vehicle is not available at the scheduled time due to the seller's fault or vehicle unavailability, no refund will be issued. You may reschedule once at no additional charge.

Refund Processing

Timeline

  • Refund requests are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Bank processing may take an additional 3-5 business days
  • You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an inspection service booking:

  1. Email us at accounts@findimoto.co.za
  2. Include your booking reference number
  3. State the reason for your refund request
  4. Provide any supporting documentation if applicable

Our accounts team will review your request and respond within 48 hours.

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
